Throughout the months of May and June, selected photographs by Juergen Teller will be on display alongside sculptures by Chinese artist Xing Jing. In the exhibition, both artists explore desire from distinct perspectives. While Teller’s photographs are explicitly oozing with desire, Jing’s sculptures are stripped of any indication of lust or sensuality. The juxtaposition of contrasting emotions ultimately invites a conversation about the nature of desire, particularly as it relates to subjectivity.
